What Will I Be Doing?
As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for, but not limited to, cleanliness and upkeep of hotel rooms and keeping within the hotel’s standards of cleanliness. Attendants are also responsible for reporting any maintenance issues, damaged property, or any lost and found items, as well as maintaining security of all guest units. You will be required to clean a minimum of 12 rooms including stayovers and departure cleans.
What Experience is Needed to Be Successful?
To be successful, you would need a great attention to detail as our room standards are higher than most hotel chains. As an ultra-luxury location, our rooms tell the story of the rest of the hotel. Experience in housekeeping is a plus; however a customer-service mindset and being proud of your work is most important.
What are the Physical Requirements of the Job?
You must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, climb, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull, and walk for prolonged periods. Some lifting required to, but not limited to 25 to 50 lbs. As a cleaner, will be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
