What Will I Be Doing?
Every day will be slightly different as you oversee the operations at Shark's Tooth Golf Club, and Golf and Grounds Maintenance operations for Camp Creek and Shark's Tooth courses. If you are up for a challenge and new adventure, this could be your opportunity. You will be responsible for ensuring our member experience continues to improve as we evaluate our services and courses. Also, you will be helping to develop the current leaders within the clubs to ensure they grow and cultivate others into new leaders for our upcoming growth projects.
What Experience is Needed to Be Successful?
This is a new position created as we strive to elevate our member experience, team and leader development, and overall services offered. A Bachelor's degree in hospitality, golf, or agronomy combined with 5-7 years’ experience in private clubs or golf operations. Currently working as an active PGA Member, CMAA Member or both preferred. Must have proven experience in leadership and development of team as well as senior-level leadership positions in a club environment that includes oversight of agronomy operations. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, along with strong fiscal acumen required.
What are the Physical Requirements of the Job?
Every day is a little different as some days you may help with membership, food & beverage, agronomy, golf services. You will be expected to be able to walk longer distances, sit for extended periods while working on administrative duties (keyboarding, returning calls, reports), bend, stoop, kneel, lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly. On occasion, you will need to climb ladders, work outside, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
