What Will I Be Doing?
Supervise, train, and insure that associates are providing St. Joe Club & Resorts service standards to the guest on a consistent basis. Ensure that amenity deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company standards. Quality assurance for FOOW operations and closing duties and quality assurance for same areas. Collection of payments and diligently maintaining the restaurant area and equipment are also major functions of this position. To hire and inspire the staff as a St. Joe Club and Resort leader, this will be done leading by example following the values and vision of the company.
What Experience is Needed to Be Successful?
To be successful in this position, you will need at least 2 years experience in Restaurant management or as a supervisor of a higher-end dining restaurant. Must have experience in Food & Beverage service standards associated with higher-end guest services. Our restaurant is within a Forbes four-star rated hotel with very specific expectations and measurements for steps of service and timing of item delivery. A degree in hospitality or food & beverage management is heavily preferred. Highly skilled and knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) is necessary.
What are the Physical Requirements of the Job?
As a Restaurant Manager, you must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop during much of the service times. Must be able to communicate verbally with the guests. Outside of service times, you will be sitting at the desk, keyboarding, communicating via telephone and email.
