    What Will I Be Doing?

    To assist in managing and directing of all Housekeeping functions for The Pearl Hotel. To participate in quality assurance for Housekeeping department and department cost control measures. To ensure St. Joe Club & Resorts standards are met in all areas by monitoring quality assurance, and consistently setting a good example. You will be responsible for ensuring the Supervisors, Lead, and Department Trainers are teaching new staff the correct way to follow and implement standards. When necessary, assist with room cleans, departures and inspections to ensure rooms are turned in a timely manner. Communication with team members within department as well as throughout the hotel are necessary. This includes pre-shift StandUps with associates, properly reporting work order and maintenance needs, ordering of supplies and creative ideas to continue to improve the guest experience. Preparing the room assignments for the attendants ensuring equitable work distribution based on job requirements. Responsible for cleaning oversight for hotel and spa facilities.

    What Experience is Needed to Be Successful?

    To be successful, the idea candidate will have at least 2 years in a housekeeping management or supervisory position. A degree in Hospitality is heavily preferred. Experience in the Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel) is also required.

    What are the Physical Requirements of the Job?

    The physical requirements are you must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, push and pull the carts and lift up to 50 lbs. You must also be able to sit, keyboard, listen and answer calls on a regular basis.
