    What Will I Be Doing?

    To direct, supervise and provide leadership for the Front Office, Housekeeping, Facility Dispatch, Spa, and Fitness efforts at WaterColor Inn, additionally the WaterSound Inn Lodging efforts, as well as the relationship with the WaterColor Private Residence Club efforts to achieve the highest levels of Guest Satisfaction, quality service, and compliance with St. Joe Club & Resorts policies and procedures while meeting/exceeding financial goals. This position is a property senior leadership role responsible for the long term and short term planning and day-to-day operations of the Inn and Guest Services. Project management of inn updates and renovations, 5 year planning and coordination will be required. The major areas of responsibility/ management include: The WaterSound Inn Lodging and Guest Service operations, as well as, The WaterColor Inn Operations: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge, Bell stand, Spa, Housekeeping, Private Residence Club, and Fitness Center. Develops strategic planning processes for management of the PRC, WaterColor Inn, Guest Service Areas, and WaterSound Inn. Within these areas of responsibility, and others that may be assigned, develops, implements, and monitors budget, strategically develop avenues to maximize revenues, as well as liaison and develop relations with Sales, Marketing, HOA, and Owner Relations, and manages expenses within approved budget constraints.

    What Experience is Needed to Be Successful?

    To be successful in this position, you should have three to five years of lodging supervisory or management experience in a luxury resort environment (Forbes or AAA 4-diamond property) and must have computer skills with the Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and past familiarity with PMS systems, and payroll/time clock systems. A four-year college degree in a hospitality related field is strongly preferred in addition to experience. You must have a proven experience in leadership and management skills with strong oral and written communication skills.

    What are the Physical Requirements of the Job?

    This position will spend much of the time standing, bending, keyboarding and will often need to walk, climb stair, lift/carry up to 25 lbs, driving company vehicles, kneel, crouch, reach/handle, and reach overhead. On some occasions, will need to work in the outdoors, sit for extended period of time and climb ladders.
