What Will I Be Doing?
You will perform the functions of Spa receptionist, attendant, coordinator, and sales person.You will need to become knowledgeable and informed regarding general spa and resort programs and services. You will monitor and maintain cleanliness of reception area, locker rooms, guest supplies and keep stock of the retail items reporting any shortages to the Spa Director. You will conduct tours of the spa facility and will need to be able to develop good guest relations in a short time and trying to resolve any issues that they might have. You will assist Director in keeping accurate records of guest services.
What Experience is Needed to Be Successful?
Spa experience is heavily preferredYou will need to have at least one year of customer service experience, excellent communication skills are required (in-person, electronic, and telephone) and experience with computers (MS Office suite), answering telephones is also required
What are the Physical Requirements of the Job?
As a Spa Receptionist, you would have to stand, bend and crouch to place merchandise in low places. This may also require reaching and pulling to obtain stock from storage cabinets. As guest service is a primary requirement, talking, hearing and visual is also required as well as optical abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
