What Will I Be Doing?
As the Supervisor you are responsible for, but not limited to, the inspection and servicing of guest units and ensuring the units meet company standards. Responsible for the oversight of team members and the upkeep of hotel walkways, security of guests units, reporting engineering issues, and responding to guests needs. This position is responsible for the general oversight of the Room Attendant, Houseperson and Common Area staff.
What Experience is Needed to Be Successful?
To be successful, you should have at least two years experience in housekeeping, preferably at a luxury property. Must be able to pleasant and courteous manner is essential to associates, service staff and memberspositive attitude that exercises service from the heart, a commitment to servicing the team and quest in a leadership role that displays an optimistic attitude to taking the necessary action to make our guests, members and staff happy.
What are the Physical Requirements of the Job?
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you spend much of your shift on your feet walking to rooms, bending, stooping, kneeling to inspect rooms and get them approved for occupancy as quickly as possible. Work is primarily inside with some exposure to outdoor work of common areas.
