    Wage Rate: $10.00/hr

    Position Type: Part-Time

    Position Status: Year Round

    Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. OR 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

    Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.


    Primary Responsibility:

    Responsible for monitoring fitness facilities ensuring positive and friendly customer relations. Observe all activity within the facility and offer assistance and instructions to guests and members.


    Essential Function:

    • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
    • Use equipment only as intended.
    • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
    • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
    • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
    • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of property.
    • Be familiar with all hotel packages, promotions, prices and rates.
    • Perform opening procedures which is outlined in our opening duty checklist.
    • Maintain cashier and retail reception areas.
    • Greet guests.
    • Maintain knowledge of hours of operation, memberships, fees, services, products and merchandise.
    • Assist guest with fitness center equipment.
    • Maintain towel supply and locker rooms.
    • Monitor guest safety.
    • Sell merchandise.
    • Perform all cashier duties i.e. sales, voids, gift cert, discounts and returns.
    • Sell memberships.
    • Price merchandise according to guidelines established by manager.
    • Display and stock merchandise.
    • Remove damaged/soiled merchandise.
    • Perform closing procedures which is outlined in our closing duty checklist.




    General Skills/Qualifications:

    Computer experience required including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) Excellent communication/organizational skills required. Excellent guest/customer service skills required. Area and Resort knowledge required. Two years retail sales or guest service experience



    Managing a multi-staff environment warm, enthusiastic manner, with excellent interpersonal, communication and guest relations skills


    Physical Requirements:

    Tasks frequent occasional standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs., driving, noise, outdoor environment/heat exposure, bending, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach/handle, climbing, overhead reach, keyboarding
