    Position Type: Year Round

    Wage Rate: $13.50/hr

    Availability: Evenings and must be available to work weekends and holidays

     

    The PM Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, the Turndown and servicing of occupied guest units. Also responsible for upkeep of hotel walkways, security of guests units, reporting engineering issues, and responding to guests needs. This position is responsible for the general oversight of the Turndown and Common Area staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Have knowledge of all the policies, standards, and procedures of the department.
    • Ensure all pass down/evening activities are completed once turndown is finished.
    • Assign staff to common areas and ensure lobby restrooms are well maintained through dinner service.
    • Oversee training and onboarding of new turndown attendants.
    • Responsible for inventory of linens.
    • Responsible for tracking of stained linens in laundry.
    • Responsible for inventory of all operating products.
    • Be familiar with resort services, activities, and outlets.
    • Monitor and maintain working areas and common area cleanliness.
    • Use of correct chemicals in correct bottles for its designated surfaces according to OSHA standards and regulations.
    • Report to shift on time in the correct uniform worn to standard, with nametag properly worn.
    • May be asked to assist with guest deliveries.
    • Ensure turndown of all in-house guest units are completed between the times of 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ensuring all quality standards are followed.
    • Ensure hotel standards are consistently adhered to through Quality Assurance checks.
    • Ensure the consistency and quality of laundry attendant's work at night time.
    • Transporting clean linen and removal of trash..
    • Cleaning drink ware and operating fresh water bottling system.
    • Continue to inspect any units that need inspecting.
    • Prepare paperwork for the afternoon. Join with AM supervisor to help inspect units.
    • Make sure the houseman/commons checks receiving for boxes that may belong to us at 3pm.
    • Monitor hallways and manage movement of the turndown attendants from one unit to the next.
    • Make sure the hallways are kept clear of linen, trash, and room service trays
    • Create project list for houseman and turndown if necessary.
    • Walk all commons areas to check for cleanliness
    • Walk all restrooms lobby and pool area for cleanliness
    • Ensure that night commons is cleaning the spas completely and thoroughly
    • Ensure night commons is cleaning up after events in the ballroom and other function areas
    • Confirm all chute, linen, and glassware rooms are clear of trash, Food service trays, and dirty linen
    • Help with scheduling of department associates
    • Strip units and stock with clean linens
    • Have dirty units cleaned by Turndown attendants when applicable
    • Oversee up to 7 employees on a nightly basis and when applicable up to 15 on a daily basis when needed
    • Oversee day shift operations when needed, run paper work, check quality of work of day time attendants
    • Make sure all attendants turn in their completed paperwork when they finish their work.
    • Keep work areas clear of those who should not be in the work area.
    • Make sure that associates are staying in their work area unless they are going to break or leaving for the shift.
    • Clean and organize linen rooms, glassware rooms on a weekly basis
    • Ensure chute rooms are kept stocked with appropriate amenities as needed
    • Ensure that turndown attendants are adhering to the Forbes standards for Turndown
    • Ensure that day shift attendants are adhering to the Forbes standards for stayovers when applicable.
    • Monitor associates time and make sure that they are leaving when scheduled
    • When needed order various products from vendors
    • During shift make sure that all lost and found items are properly logged and stored
    • Make sure all carts are locked and secured after attendants are finished for the evening
    • Ensure all turndown carts are fully stocked before attendants begin their evening services
    • Ensure that all carts are clean and well maintained

    Qualifications

    • Maintaining positive guest interaction and staff environment.
    • Able to read and speak English.
    • Previous hotel experience a plus
    • Pleasant and courteous manner is essential to associates, service staff and members.
    • Respectful to all team members.
    • Flexible hours are required.
    • May be required to work some weekends and most holidays.
    • Positive attitude that exercises service from the heart, a commitment to servicing the team and quest in a leadership role that displays an optimistic attitude to taking the necessary action to make our guests, members and staff happy. 
    • Associates will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor.
