Overview

Wage Rate: $14.00-$16.00/hour DOE
Position Type: Year Roung
Position Status: Full Time
Availability: Day Shift. Weekends will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephones within 3 rings using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
  • Directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Qualify as existing Members, Prospective Members, and Resort Guests.
  • Distribute all prospective Membership leads to the appropriate Membership manager
  • Greet and qualify all visitors to the Membership office
  • Have full knowledge and understanding of Membership offerings and policies; possess the ability to explain such to current and prospective members
  • Have full knowledge of Resort Amenity offerings and policies; possess ability to explain to guests
  • Assist with the on-boarding of new members to include Membership documentation, scheduling of club tours and new member orientations
  • Follow up with new members within a specific timeframe to see if they have any questions. Included in this follow up should be a more in depth conversation about the guest policies and the appropriate forms that need to be filled out, assisting them with the forms if they are not able to complete on their own.
  • Maintain and distribute the current membership list on a monthly basis
  • Distribute the list of resigned Members on a monthly basis
  • Ensure that all deadlines for membership information and data are met
  • Print and distribute membership cards
  • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Assist in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
  • Anticipate member/guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all member/guest, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Maintain positive member/guest relations at all times.
  • Resolve member/guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Meet with Supervisor to review daily assignments and priorities.
  • Meet with departing Front Desk Agent to review business status and follow up items.
  • Access all functions of computer system.
  • Set up work station with necessary supplies.
  • Answer department telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
  • Promote positive guest relations to all individuals approaching the Front Desk

Qualifications

  • 2 years of administrative/clerical and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Possession of strong organizational skills & ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
  • Ability to work weekends and/or holidays
  • Must be a service minded individual with a positive attitude who truly enjoys helping others.
  • Must be quick on their feet and adept at handling stressful situations seamlessly.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Adept at handling stressful situations seamlessly.
  • Hospitality background is heavily preferred.
  • Must be dependable and punctual at all times.
  • Must be able to work at WaterSound, Camp Creek, Sharks Tooth and Corporate Locations.
